The Temple Wat Bang Phra

Home of Luang Pi Nunn, the holy Tattoo monk

Wat Bang Phra, the very old Tattoo temple is about 50 Kilometers west of Bangkok. The temple is many hundred years old, maybe more then 1000 years old. Unfortunately there are no old records of the development of the temple. In the temple complex are ancient wall bricks which shows you, that it was used long, long time ago.

The magic Tattoos, the Sak Yant or Yantra Tattoo were etched as long as anyone can remember.

In that area you find many ancient venerable relics. The temple complex is beautified and renewed all the time. Here you see that Buddha cuts his hair as a sign of dropping his desires.
